Age Policy

When creating an account, Troop Central requires you to enter your age. We need this data to follow BSA's Youth Protection program. For more details on the Youth Protection program, click here.

What does Troop Central do with a user's age?

A user's age is never shared, and is only used for following the Youth Protection rules. Scouts (and leaders) must be classified as a youth or adult in Troop Central's dashboard in the Manage Members page.

If a member's age group is set wrong, notify the troop manager. If a user's age is set wrong, report the user.
